Above is my sister Evelyn, I asked her to write a letter to the Animal Control Board here in Reno.
The following letter is what she wrote to them.

"  To Whom it may concern;                                                                                     01/06/2008

It has come to my attention that there have been concerns regarding the reptiles in my brothers
care. While visiting November

of last year, I became acquainted with Bagel and Cream Cheese and Ace. I found them very docile
and non aggressive. I observed their

behavior for three days and was in close proximity during that entire time. Since I was not
accustomed to reptiles of this size,I was cautious at first.  As I was allowed to handle them I never
felt threatened.

My brothers education concerning this breed and the care you give them has given me an entirely
new outlook on reptiles.

I am assured that once those concerned hear all the information my brother has, they will see their
concerns are entirely unfounded . I  may be reached for confirmation of this statement at:

comments = Hi,
My mom and I talked to you in Petco when you had cream cheese. I finally won a bet with
my dad and am getting the ball python that I wanted.
She is about 3 feet long and about a year old she is doing fine other than she has always
been fed live, my parents want her to eat frozen thawed.
They say that live feeding is the deal breaker.
Is it possible to convert her from live to frozen.
Everyone I speak to says ball pythons usually only eat live.
Thanks Ian

Ian;

YES IT IS POSSIBLE TO CONVERT ANY SNAKE OVER FROM LIVE TO FROZEN/THAWED ... ITS ALL IN THE WAY YOU PRESENT THE FOOD TO HER.

1.MAKE SURE TE SNAKE IS HUNGRY ... ego IF YOU FEED HER EVERY 2 WEEKS WAIT THREE and ITS BODY TEMPERTURE IS BETWEEN 70 AN 80
degrees AT LEAST.

2. MAKE SURE TE SNAKE IS NOT SHEDING IF SO THEN WAIT FOR IT TO COMPLETE SHEDING.

3. PUT THE SNAKE IN A CLEAN FEEDING TANK, SOMETHING SHE IS CONFORTABLE IN.

4. DO NOT HANDLE THE FOOD ...(USE TONGS)

5. MAKE SURE THE FOOD IS WARM WITH NO FROZEN SPOTS. I USE THE HEAT LAMPS TO WARM THEM " DON'T OVER HEAT THEM!" AS ITWILL SMELL
UP THE HOUSE AND YOUR PARENTS WILL KILL BOTH OF US

6. ENSURE THAT YOU WARM THE HAD OF THE FOOD A BIT MORE SO THAT THE SNAKE CAN SINCE THE DIFFERENCE ...AND PRSENT THE FOOD TO
TH SNAKE USING THE TONGS.

7. IF IT IS A FRESH KILLED MOUSE THEN PRESENT IT RIGHT AFTER YOU TERMINATE THE RODENT. YOU MIGHT NEED TO WIGGLE THE RODENT A
BIT T EXCITE THE SNAKE INTO FEEDING.

8. IF THE SNAKE REFUSES THE FOOD TRY A PRODUCT I SE CALLED . MOUSE MAKER , ALONG WITH SOLAR DROPS BOTH ITEMS SOLD AT
LLLREPTILES AS LISTED BELOW.

PS: IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR LOW COST FOOD ALONG WITH SUPPLIES YOU MIGHT TRY  " lllreptiles.com " .

If you have any futher questions you can callme at 775-741-2407 ...

HOPE THIS HELPS
